Deferred Adjudication

If you received this does it mean that your plead is no contest to the charge? On applications it asks if the applicant pleaded no contest to a charge so wanted to check.

Re: Deferred Adjudication

No, it does not mean that. It means that you entered a guilty plea (or a no contest plea - the law does not recognize a difference), the judge deferred, or waited, to find you guilty until after you completed the probationary period. If you sucessfully completed the probationary period, the judge entered an order setting aside your judgement and conviction.
