Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
i am on deferred adjudication in Texas for assault on a public servant. I signed for 5 years probation, 160 hours of community service, and a $500 fine plus court costs and fees. I have completed the requirements and my probation officer say i have her support to get off early. She says I can hire an attorney. I'm broke though! The DA says I also have the option to file my own motions with the district clerk, but they cannot tell me which motions to file of course. i need help finding the correct forms and penal codes to reference in order to submit my request to the judge.
