Class B Misdemeanor (Theft - Texas Penal Code Section 31.03) carrys a maximum confinement of up to 180 days is county jail and/or fine of up to $2,000.00. Have you made restitution (if applicable) to the alleged victim? It is always better to protect your rights by retaining an attorney to assist you with any criminal procedure.
