Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I have been on deffered adjudicated felony 3 probation for 13 years.Original sentence was 10 yrs.,
End of 10 year sentence, extended 3 due to not completing court ordered counseling, and I also owed around 2500.00 for fees ( Judge said it was not the money ) -Right !!
I have only 1 month left on extension,on social security disability (SSDI),my wife was deported in 7/2007. We have immigration lawyers on that case. She was approved to get visa, then Department Homeland Security took back approval, lawyers say it is mistake, still working on case.(Nothing to do with my probation,or criminal background).
I was discharged from my court ordered group, that I have been in for 13 years, last month for non payment,P.O sent my violation with my file to court. No other violations, fees all paid, unsuccessful
completion on group.
Question : Any way to predict likely outcome of this case ?, and the facts of my wifes situation, being that she is about to be here,or I want to leave the country to be with her, have any consideration for outcome of my probation case ????
I know,I have too many problems !!!!! Thank you for your time and help !

If you have been in a court ordered group for 13 years then my guess is that the case involves allegations of sexual misconduct. If so, then that ups the chance that you will be adjudicated guilty and sent to prison. It really depends on the judge but I am aware of many sex offender cases in which the person served much of the probation and extensions only to be sent to prison. Sorry. You asked for a guess.
