Who can file for deffered judivication in a misdemeanor case and If someone is given deffered juditication about how long is the probation?

Any defendant can apply to the court for deferred adjudication, the length of the probation depends on the offense.
It is generally best to hire a lawyer and have him or her negotiate a plea bargain with the state's attorney.
