Deferred adjudication is a special probation in which the person is not found guilty - the finding of guilt is deferred or set off - and if the person completes the condition then they are never found guilty. Depending on the type of charge, you may be able to seal the record. (For some types of eligible cases there is a waiting period; for other types there is not.)
