Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
This is a difficault question to ask. My husband is in prison for molesting our daughter when she was a teenager. When he was convicted, he was receiving government Disability and SSI benefits, which were discontinued when he was convicted. My daughter has not had an easy life since. She is now 31 and a single mother. Could she be entitled to any compensation from her father's accrued Social Security benefits for what he did to her?
