Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Distributing to a Minor and MIP Technicality
I am from Texas and live in a dry county. I am 20 and was driving my friend who is 21. We drove out of the county where my friend bought beer. I own the truck I was driving when we were pulled over. After informing the officer that the beer was for my friend, he wrote me a ticket for an MIP and my friend a ticket for distribution to a minor. Is there any way to fight this? The officer pulled me over for a broken taillight that was functioning correctly. What should I do?

Re: Distributing to a Minor and MIP Technicality
I suggest hiring an attorney. It sounds like these charges can be fought.
