Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Divorce and Cars
My husband bought a car for my daughter and we are now getting divorced. The other car is in both of our names and he took that along w/ eveything in the house. Can i go get the car that is in both of our names and hide my daughters car so he cant find it. I want to take it to my brothers house and trade it with one of his. But will he get in trouble for driving it if my husband reports it stolen?

Re: Divorce and Cars
He has filed for divorce, taken the car and everything in the house? He has already violated the standing orders. When are you going to hire a lawyer to protect your rights and your property?
