Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

DMV Perjury

14 years ago my nephew applied for a license with the DMV using a fake name. He just discovered that apparently the DMV filed perjury charges against him and he's had a warrant since 1994. He never knew he had the warrant. Is there a statute of limitations on perjury in California? What should he do about the warrant? He lives in another state. He has never had any legal problems.

Re: DMV Perjury

You should repost this to California attorneys, as CA law is the applicable one. In Texas, the statute of limitations tolls if the person is outside of the state.
