Can a dropped charge hurt you?
i had a criminal mischief felony charge in texas that was later dropped. i was wondering if i go apply to a job ( non state or federal), will this dropped charge show up in any way resulting in non hire?

the charge and arrest will likely show up but a conviction will not. To clear your record, you will need to file for an expunction if you are eligible.

You can expunge a dismissed case.
