Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Drug charge

I was charged with 2 counts of possesion of a controlled substance. It was not mine and i was not on the lease of the apartment nor present at the time of the search. I was on the search warrant. What type of sentance do i face and is it possible they just want me for questioning???? Please help!!

It's unclear from your question whether or not you have been formally charged or wanted pursuant to an arrest warrant. Police do not seek warrants just for questioning. Whatever the case, remember that you have a constitutional right to remain silent. You do not have to answer any questions or make any statements. You don't even have to return investigator's telephone calls. If you are arrested, tell the police that you want an attorney and will not answer questions without one. After you tell them it wasn't you or you didn't do it, keep your mouth shut! Good luck.
