drug posseion and search

My son was ticketed by game warden for no hunting lic. He had one, but did not have it with him. Ticket dismissed on proof of license.

At hearing, when ticket was dismissed, he was arrested for possesion of marijuana. It was found on ranch where my son was after he left(after getting ticket for no license). Is search, legal? No warrant or permission from my son, but possibly permission from cousin who owns part of ranch with me. And, are drugs found on ground after you have left premises in your possession?

An attorney might be successful with a Motion to Dismiss. It will also depend on the information in the prosecutor's file. You should get him an attorney soon.
