Can i be drug tested at my arraignment. will they give me a court apointed attorney.

Can you be drug tested at your arraignment? Yes, and at every setting and between. It is probably a condition of your bond that you not use drugs (especially if you are charged with a drug case) and that you not violate the law (which includes abusing prescription drugs or taking illegal drugs). Your bond can be revoked if you are dirty. (It is more likely to be revoked at subsequent settings than at the first appearance if you come back dirty for marijuana.)
Be aware that many times the offer on a case depends on whether you can pee clean . . .
Will they give you a court appointed lawyer? Are you indigent? If not, then no. If you are indigent, then you will probably have to apply for a court appointed lawyer. (Before your first appearance, you should call around to several lawyers and talk about your case and get fee quotes so you will have an idea whether or not you can afford a lawyer.) Being indigent does not just mean not having money - you must be working full time or be a full time student and still be unable to hire a lawyer. You cannot work part time or sit at home on your behind for no reason & be found indigent.
