Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
DUI/Blockage of a pathway
I agreed to a plea deal from a dui charge to a blockage of a passageway conviction in texas. What are my rights related to getting my license back given that it was suspended, also what implications are there for future employment and insurance and are there any actions I can take to create less impact in the future

Re: DUI/Blockage of a pathway
Your license was likely suspended for failure to give a breath sample. As a result, your license is still suspended. Once the suspension period ends, you need to pay a reinstatement fee. Since the charge got reduced there will be no surcharge. You now have a criminal conviction on your record.
