Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Do I need a duly licensed attorney of the State of Bar of Texas?
I was charged with Felony/Misdemeanor because of shoplifting. In the Bail Bond paper, it says ''First appearance........ YOUR ATTORNEY SHOULD BE PRESENT WITH YOU ON THIS DATE......''. Does the attorney have to be board certified by the State Bar of Texas? Please help

You should have an attorney present with you. All attorneys are licensed by the State of Texas. You do not need a board certified attorney.
