Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My eleven year old is being charged with a crime . It was stated that he was seen taking a drug from another student. A search was performed and it was found on my son, My question is my son says he was chased down and a young man put it on him. This is recorded on a school camera my son was sent to an alternative school and faces charges do i need a lawyer for my son.

Yes. Under Texas law, the parents are required to provide a lawyer for their children unless they are indigent and then one will be appointed.
