Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

Employee steals checks/I file forgery/DA charges me for theft by check

I had two employees over time forge thousands of dollars worth of my checks. The employees responsible, were not authorized as signers on my accounts. I filed a police a report.I repeatedly made calls to the bank, always receiving the excuse that the lady that handles forgeries is out for medical reasons. I closed the accounts my self, since checks forged by the employees were still being paid. Now the DA is prosecuting me for checks that were forged, and checks I wrote.... APPROX. 5 checks, that would have paid, but did not due to the forgeries. I contacted the Federal Reserve Bank, and was told I would get a response in 30 days, which didn't happen. I recently saw one employee in our paper indictment for theft of 20,000.00 , I filed the report as Forgeries? Im now guilty of being a thief, but never can seem to get into a courtroom . This is just one short example I have phone recordings of my Banker, quite a few. I also have a recording of when I went to the local DA to show my proof that I never wrote a check in bad faith. The DA stated he would list them as forged, but next thing I know, IM arrested and charged. I have tried everything, and this last plea for help on this board hopefully will get recognized. HELP

You need lawyer in the county where the case is being prosecuted and you need to hire that lawyer to represent you.

End of story.

This is not something you should try to handle without hiring a lawyer.
