Based on what you have written, the costs associated with an expunction or non-disclosure will vary from law firm to law firm and attorney to attorney. Be cautious with picking the cheapest one - as you may get what you pay for.
You may want to review Chapter 55 of Texas Code of Criminal Procedure to learn more about expunctions and Chapter 411 of the Texas Government Code to learn more about non-disclosures. There are differences between non-disclosures and expunctions and you should be prepared to discuss those options with the law firm or attorney you choose.

If you received deferred, you are not entitled to have your record expunged. However, if you successfully completed deferred adjudication, you may be able to obtain an order of non-disclosure. While this will keep the fact of the arrest and deferral from being desseminated to most places, the courts, law enforcement and certain agencies will still have access to your arrest. Unfortunately this list of agencies probably includes fire departments.
