Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Expunge a deferred adjudication Charge
I received 2 years deferred adjudication probation in 2003. After serving 2/3 of that time I was released from the charge and the indictment dismissed. I still find it showing up on public records and it makes it hard to find quality careers. Can I have this removed or expunged?

Re: Expunge a deferred adjudication Charge
Hello there,
You cannot have it expunged because you did receive a probated sentence. However, you can file a motion of non disclosure so prospective employers cannot see the conviction.
