Expunged
In 96 I plead not guilty to a theft charge . 2000 had trial and got 90 days probation (deferred adjudication) lawyer said it would be expunged in 2008 still on record not able to find any employement How can I get this removed from my record?

If you received deferred adjudication as described, then at some point you must have pled guilty to the offense in exchange for a plea recommendation of deferred. In the alternative, you pled guilty to the trial court, without a plea bargain, and received deferred from the trial judge. In any case, if you completed the deferred successfully, you are possibly eligible for an Order of Nondisclosure.
