Re: expungement for a misdemeanor conviction
A conviction cannot be expunged. However, if you received deferred adjudication community supervision you may be able to have an attorney file a Petition for Non-Disclosure, which has the end result of sealing the record from public view. However, you need to talk with a criminal defense attorney in your area about how, cost, procedures, and complete ramifiations. Contact a criminal defense attorney in your area.
