Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Expunging Criminal Arrest History
After the death of my 10 month old daughter, who was sleeping w/me and did not wake up, I was charged w/Injury to a Child w/Severe Bodily Injury based on the prosecution's belief that I had accidently suffocated her by "overlay". The charges were dismissed "due to lack of sufficent evidence." Can the arrest records be expunged?

Re: Expunging Criminal Arrest History
After one year from the dimissal date the charge can be expunged. It is a very good idea to do so. I am very sorry about your loss and let me know if I can help. I am in the Austin/ San Antonio area
