Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

exspungement

I recived a mistamedor B for shoplifting in Travis county, I went to court and was in the process of getting defered ajudication, but some how my case was also sent to Williamson county and I was charged and arrested, for the same case, so since it was put on my record by Willimson county, they dismissed the case in Travis county, and told me there was nothing they could do it was already on my record, therefor I did not get to have it be a deferment, now Im stuck with it on my record and cannot get a job. I don't know what to do and I dont see how it is fair that this happened because I was given the choice to have a deferment and then it was taken away from me because of a mistake they made. Please help me, I dont know what I should do, or even if there is anything I can do.

Re: exspungement

Hire an attorney to have the arrest in Travis expunged.

If you succesfully completed defered probation for the charge in williamson county it can also be expunged from employers finding it.
