Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Extradition Waiver Refusal
My husband is in jail in Texas. When I tried to bond him out we were informed that Florida had a hold on him for violation of probation and they wanted to extradite. He refused to sign the extridition papers. What is the next step and will they be able to get him anyway?

Re: Extradition Waiver Refusal
This is a very serious situation and you need to fight the extradition in texas - otherwise you will end up having to hire someone in Florida as well as in texas to represent your husband. I recommend that you contact attorney David Breston in Houston. He specializes in criminal law and would be more than happy to discuss your husband's case with you. His number is (713)224-4040. Just tell his secretary that Stephanie T. Shipp recommended him to you.
