Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My exwife boyfriend was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. The assault was againist her. it happen 2years ago and the state decided to pick up the case. His bond was set at 25,000. What does that mean? I live in Dallas, Tx. I am the exhusband. Do I have a say so in the case? I was the one who took her to the hospital.

What do you mean by "say so"? If he chooses to go to trial, you could be called as a witness to testify as to hearsay statements made by her if they differ from what she testifies to or told police, as to the injuries you observed, as to anything you observed by or heard from the defendant at or near the time, as to her condition and the effect on her.....
