Failure to Id

I was stoped on a traffic stop tuesday and I had a suspended licenes and I gave the officer someone elses name and got arested on a failure to id charge. I havent been in any trouble in the past had a 2 hot checks that were paid and this is my first time in trouble so my question is if I tell the judge that I was just scared and made a stupid mistake and I am willing to pay what are my chances of getting off easy and also what should I ask for as far as a sentance to have this not show on my record cause I am hopeing to go to the police acadamy

I strongly recommend that you not try to represent yourself. Your approach will probably result in the judge being sympathetic, as he finds you guilty. You need a lawyer to handle the failure to id charge, and to get you an ODL.
