my son used another name when recently arrested he is on probation what should he do. should we tell his probation officer so that they wont issue an arrest warrant

If you want to help him, first hire a lawyer to represent him, and let the lawyer know. Otherwise, he risks an immediate revocation. The attorney can make the path smoother.
