Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was falsely accused of aggravated assault, and I went through a jury trial. The judge added to the jury decision which I think was very unfair. Also the prosecution's witnesses were rehearsed by a court officer. My witnesses were not allowed to present their testimonies to show how the accuser had shown violence to them in the past. The accuser's long, violent criminal history was banned from court. I feel that I was railroaded and there was much testimony which would have substantiated the violent character of the accuser. The judge was a friend of the accuser's sister. I do feel that knowing this and my having told them so, they should have had another judge oversee my case.
There are many flaws and injustices in my court case. Currently I am undergoing an appeal so I need a good attorney who would review the case in depth and ensure that justice does prevail!
Any attorney out there who would handle an appeal for me??
Thank you.

There are a number of good lawyers throughout Texas who handle criminal appeals. You just need to hire one you are comfortable with. It sounds like you have some issues for appeal, but a lot will depend on what error was preserved for appeal, if any.
