Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
falsely accused
one of my employees stole somthing from my wharehouse and got caught he told the cops i accepted money and helped him steal the eqpment they arrested me at work and told me i had somthing to do whith it but whouldn't tell me what (trying to get me to confess)i said nothing. they don't have any evedence or anything all they have is someone elses confession, can they legaly arrest me and form a case out of someone elses confession that wasen't true.

Unfortunately you can be arrested on a false statement.
However, you have the right to confront and cross examine your accuser.
