If you were found guilty and convicted, then this is a final conviction on your record for the rest of your life. If you received deferred adjudication, you cannot seal a family violence deferred under the Texas Government Code. The only way to get a conviction like this off of your record is through a pardon, recommended to the Governor through the Board of Pardons and Parole.
