Re: Felon Poss WPN
It is impossible to refer you to a case that is similar, inasmuch as the facts of each case are different; and I don't know any of the facts of your husband's case. You state that he has an attorney, yet you are trying to do the research. I am confused. Attorneys in criminal cases will routinely negotiate a case with the ADA to get the lowest possible outcome for their client, not only based on the case facts, but also on his background. Your husband has the final say on whether or not he will accept a deal with the ADA. Not always, but usually going to trial is to get a not guilty verdict, not a lesser punishment. In my part of the country, juries and judges usually pass down a stricter punishment than could be negotiated. Have you discussed your concerns with the attorney? Even though you are not the client, he/she should be willing to discuss your concerns with him. TCL
