Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Felony Charge
Someone called the police on our nephew and he was hiding in her house which she did not know. When the police came she told them they could not go in and they stormed in anyways. Can they do that?? Now she has been charged with aiding and abedding and her bond was set at $30,000. He violated a restraining. What are her options can they really charge her with a felony now??

Re: Felony Charge
Not only can they, from what you said, they already have.
My wild guess is that they did not believe that she did not know he was hiding in the house.
She needs a lawyer.
