Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I need a felony charge removed from my record,it was 12 yrs ago it was reduced down to a misdemeanor,

I'm afraid you're probably not going to be able to get that expunged. The one exception that would qualify you for expunction would be if the felony was reduced to a Class C misdemeanor and deferred. If it was reduced to a Class A or B misdemeanor and you received deferred adjudication on that, you'd probably qualify to have your record sealed via an order of nondisclosure, which unless you're going into a state-regulated profession (law, medicine, teaching, etc.), would probably work okay for you. Otherwise, I'm afraid you're probably out of luck.
