Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Felony: Failure to stop and give information
My husband turned himself in for failure to stop and give information (his first felony) after hitting a car and leaving the scene. What type of punishment is he facing? (He has 4 or 5 misdemeanors on his record including a DWI and driving with a suspended license.)

It depends where it hapended. Generally, it is a case for deffered adjudication if the there was no one very badly hurt. If the case is in central Texas please let know if I can help.
