Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Felony
I had a felony offense back in 1990, burgary of Habitation and Vehicle. I recieved probation for both. Now nearly 18 yrs since the conviction I am still having problems finding work with it on my record. Is there a way to have these removed?

Re: Felony
Maybe. Probation may not have been deferred, but under the laws at the time, it may still be possible to get an Order of Nondisclosure. From the District Clerk of the original county, get a copy of your file. Take these to a consultation with a criminal defense lawyer in that county to see if you qualify.
