Felony Removal

How long does a first (and only) felony conviction remain on your record in Texas. I was convicted of Credit Card Abuse in 1995. I completed probation of 5years.

Re: Felony Removal

a felony conviction remains on your record forever. However, if you receivded a deferred adjudication, you may be elgible to have an attorney file a Petition for Non-Disclosure, i.e., seal the case to keep away from third parties, i.e., some employers, apartment complex personnell, etc. Contact a criminal defense attorney in your area to discuss the matter.

Covictions normally remain on your record forever. Depending upon the specifics, you may be entitlted to have your record sealed from disclosure to employers, apartment complexes, and other entities of the sort.
