Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
got a felony in texas 11 years ago spent 2 years in state jail no probation after 1) do I have to mention in applications and 2) can I ever leave the country

If you are asked whether you were convicted of a felony, you must answer truthfully.
If you are not on parole or probation there is no restriction on whether you can leave the country. However there may be a problem in obtaining a visa from the country you are going to. I am unaware whether you will be able to obtain a U.S. passport.
