Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Felony, uncompleted probation
My fiance is a Mexican citizen who was charged in Texas 10 years ago. He left Texas probation (10 years for assault), after 4 years to support his family in Mexico when his father passed away.
We are willign to pay all probation fees in order to have the probation considered completed. Can I negotiate thsi myself with the state of Texas, or do I require a lawyer???

Probation revocations are very serious and you need to hire an attorney to evaluate your case and negotiate with the States attorney.
