My fiance will is waiting on a bed at safp. How long is the wait? When he is released do they contact someone? Do they go straight to a Half-way house that day they are released?

The waiting period for SAFP varies day to day but the probation officer should be able to tell him. When he is released he will be given instructions and should follow them precisely. If ever a question arises that he cannot figure out, he should call his probation officer. If he does not have one assigned yet, he should call the court and talk to the court's probation officer.
