Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
fifteen years ago i had a bad check in my checking account that eventually resulted in a theft by check which is a felony. i was placed on probation and would like to have it expunged can this be done?

If you received deferred adjudication, you may be able to seal this from the public. If you were convicted and did regular probation, then this is a conviction on your record for the rest of your life. You could apply for a pardon through the Board of Pardons and Parole, but that is a longshot.
