Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was trying to file my FAFSA when I came across the question "Have you been convicted for the possession or sale of illegal drugs for an offense that occurred while you were receiving federal student aid (grants, work-study, and/or loans)?" If my conviction didnt take place until I was already out of school, would i still put yes or would i put no?

What matters is the date of the crime, not of the conviction.
