Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Can i file theft charges against someone who borrowed money from me if they signed a contract and nom will no pay the money back? The amount is about 7500 hundred dollars.

If there is a contract, you would need to show that they intended to defraud you at the time they signed the contract. You can sue them in JP court and get a judgment against them.
