Re: Financial consequences of a dwi conviction?
Every situation and every attorney are different. Generally speaking, the bondsman will cost around $400, the attorney between $1000-$5000, filing fees on the license suspension and ODL $500, $50 monthly on probations fees, $300 court costs, $700 fine, 80 hours community service, approximately $500 during probations for DA's and classes, $125 license reinstatement fee, SR22 fees, 20% increase in insurance. These are all approximations, and do not take into account the inconvenience of possibly limited driving due to the ODL, and employment limitations for the DWI.
