Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I want to find out what does it mean when a defendent - gets a letter from the Board of supervison - that says " The court may impose supervise release no more then 3 yrs count 2 class c felony"
This person has not been sentence in the federal courts yet - this letter was received prior to sentenceing

It is advising of the potential sentence. The person has a lawyer and should discuss the letter with the lawyer.
