Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Forgery
I was charged with forgery of a financial instrument. The total of the 2 checks is about $300 or so. My bond was $2500. What are my chances of probation? And what will happen at my arraignment? Will they offer me a plea at the arraignment? Thanks for you help!!

Re: Forgery
If you have never been in trouble before, you have a good chance of probation. A conviction for forgery is a crime of moral turpitude, and will follow you forever. I strongly recommend you get a criminal defense attorney to represent you in this case.
