Robert Tuthill Law Office of Robert H. Tuthill

you can request an expunction which destroys a criminal record of a charge that was dismissed or where there is a verdict of not-guilty (or a deferred on a class C misdemeanor).

you can file a petition for non-disclosure on many offenses where the punishment received was deferred probation.

So the answer to your question really depends on what you were charged with, what happened with the charge, what was the outcome, and what your criminal history looks like.
