Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I found out that my girfriends sister was gay and was hiding this from her whole family. I created a fake facebook page and sent her a message with it telling her that I knew she was gay and that she should tell her family. She messaged me back and asked me who I was and to leave her alone. I told her that I meant no harm and that I would leave her alone and that I was just a friend who created a fake facebook page. She messaged me back and said to leave her alone and that she was going to the cops because I created a fake page to harass her. I messaged her and said I would leave her alone and delete the fake page, which I did.

Now my girlfriend tells me that her sister is going to the police to file harassment charges and get them to trace the facebook, which will lead back to me.

1. Is it possible for the police to trace a facebook message back to my computer?

2. Does she have a valid case to file harassment charges. I did not continually message her and when she told me to stop, I did and deleted the page. She says she can file harassment charges because the messages made her feel uncomfortable.

1. Yes, your facebook page COULD be traced back to your computer.

2. The likelihood that the police will take any interest in this silly situation is ZERO. They have much bigger fish to fry.
