Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

fraud

I am from Texas. I invested a large sum of money with an LLC from Pennsylvania. The investment was supposed to be in coal mines. I was to get a percentage of the income from a coal mine. The person I deal with has been raising money via a salesman for over 4 years.I was supposed to start receiving a return over a year ago. Without going into a lot of detail, I'm almost 100% sure this is a fraudulent company. I have reason to believe that investor money is being taken in and the owner is taking the money and sending it to an offshore bank account. I also have a 100g and a 50g hot check from this guy I would like to collect on.Since I invested such a large sum, I'd like to have a lawyer that is very familiar with white collar crime and will work on a percentage. What are the first steps Ineed to take to try and get my money back?

Re: fraud

You need to take all of your documentation to the US Attorney's office. If you are correct, this is a federal crime, and when prosecuted, restitution will be included.
