Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
a friend was charged with agg robbery...he was there but did not commit the crime. The "victim" gave a false police report because he did not want his wife to know he was at a motel with another woman and then changed the report 2 weeks later to reflect that he was at the motel. Shouldn't the case be dismissed for his false report?

Your friend needs to hire a criminal defense attorney. Prosecutors assume that police reports are true. As long as the "victim" tells the police that he was robbed, it is unlikely that the charge will be dismissed..
